Important notice for prospective students
Please note, an official acceptance letter and an approved study permit DO NOT guarantee a seat. Successful first-term course registration, supported by the international advising team, is essential for enrollment. DO NOT make travel arrangements until you are registered for your first-term courses.

Step 1
Review the specific requirements for your program.
English language proficiency
CMTN recognizes a wide variety of alternative courses and tests to satisfy the four components of language (listening, speaking, reading and writing) required to be successful in your studies. Not sure if you meet the English language requirements for your program?
If you do not meet the English language requirements, you can demonstrate your proficiency through an evaluation method such as TOEFL, IELTS, or more.
Upgrading
Individual courses in our programs may require the equivalents to Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Math. If you are missing these equivalents you may enrol in Career & College Preparation (CCP) upgrading courses while you complete the program. View the entrance requirements for your program for details.

Step 2
Apply to your program and pay the application fee ($100 CDN - non-refundable).
Note: If an international admissions agency is helping with your application be sure to include the name of the agent on your online application.
Step 3
Submit your supporting documentation.
Unofficial documents are acceptable to begin the admissions process. Please include the transcript legend, your student ID, full name, birthdate and the program you applied for. Unofficial documents can be submitted by email to: admissions@coastmountaincollege.ca.
Official transcripts must be mailed in a sealed envelope or faxed from the institution you attended to Coast Mountain College and must include the official seal or signature of that institution. A notarized translation must accompany any transcripts that are not in English. If you have completed the West African Examination Council Exams, CMTN must be supplied with scratch card information so results may be verified.
Note: CMTN will not return any official documentation submitted.
Step 4
Receive conditional acceptance.
Once you have met the requirements, you will be conditionally accepted into the program and must pay a deposit towards either your first-semester tuition fees or your full-year tuition; depending on if you apply through the Regular Study Stream or Study Direct Stream.

*Your full first-year deposit amount will be confirmed in your letter of acceptance, depending on your program of choice.
Note: Please be aware that banking institutions charge a $15 wire transfer fee per transaction. This fee must be made in addition to your deposit amount.
Your acceptance letter will be sent upon receipt of your deposit payment. $4,000 of your fees are non-refundable unless a study permit is denied. For refunds/deferrals, use this form, or visit the refunds page.
What happens next?
After you receive your acceptance letter you will need to complete your study permit application with the Government of Canada. Learn more about study permits and how to apply to the Regular Study Stream or Study Direct Stream.
